IDAHO FALLS, IDAHO \u2013 April 2,
\n2007 \u2013 The Museum of Idaho will be presenting Dr. Bruce Zuckerman, who will be
\ngiving a presentation on the Dead Sea Scrolls at Trinity Methodist Church (next
\ndoor to the Museum of Idaho) on Wednesday, May 9th and Thursday, May 10th at
\n7.00 pm. Dr. Zuckerman is the last of five speakers the Museum of Idaho has
\nscheduled to come to Idaho Falls.  The
\nprevious four speakers were outstanding in their insight and depth of
\nknowledge, often drawing crowds of over 300 and in conveying the importance of
\nthe Dead Sea findings to the
\nIdaho
\nFalls<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> public. The public will not want to miss this last opportunity to see a
\nworld-renowned expert speak on the Dead Sea Scrolls in
\nIdaho Falls<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>.
\n<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Zuckerman is Associate
\nProfessor of Hebrew Bible,School<\/st1:placetype> ofReligion<\/st1:placename> at the
\nUniversity<\/st1:placetype> ofSouthern
\nCalifornia<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place>. He received his PhD in ancient Near
\nEastern Languages fromYale<\/st1:placename>
\nUniversity<\/st1:placetype> and was subsequently an Associate of the
\nHarvard<\/st1:placename>
\nSemitic<\/st1:placename>
\nMuseum<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place>
\nbefore joining the USC faculty in 1980. He is also a partner of West Semitic
\nResearch, director of the West Semitic Research Project and the Inscriptifact
\nProject, and director of the USC Archaeological Research Collection. He has published
\na book on the biblical text of Job, Job the Silent (New York: Oxford Press,
\n1991), as well as numerous articles on ancient texts from biblical times. His
\nphotographs have been featured in many scholarly publications as well as in a
\nnumber of popular venues.
\n<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
